The mask is made of elastane, which is highly flexible and stretchable, allowing it to adapt perfectly to the horse's head.
Neoprene earmuffs.
The eyes are protected by metal mesh shells sewn onto the bonnet, which are very strong and allow good vision and air circulation (especially for healing). They also protect against insects and prevent your horse from rubbing his eyes.
This model features blinders around the wire mesh hulls, which can be removed if not required.
Closes with 2 under-throat buckles.

As with all hard-shell goggles, we advise you to check that the mask fits properly, especially if your horse wears it outdoors.

- If you have taken out an insurance policy covering your horse's veterinary expenses, your insurance company may cover all or part of the cost of eye protection required in the event of an accident or to treat an ophthalmic condition. If this is the case, and subject to the terms and conditions of your policy, your insurance company will require the products to be prescribed by your vet on the prescription you receive.
Horses are not made to wear masks! Check at least once a day that the mask has not moved and that your horse is comfortable with it. We take the greatest care in the manufacture of our products and in the choice of materials, but every horse is different, and it's up to you to check that the equipment you choose (model + size) corresponds to the protection your horse's eyes need.
FranceMask is solid and protects the eye well but... lets flies through! lycra is not elastic enough and the neoprene ears are too hot in summer; a lighter material would be welcome a few modifications and this product will be worth its rather high price tag
LuxembourgBought this mask in anticipation of a minor operation on my mare's eyes (eyelashes). The mask doesn't rest very well on the horse's head because the leather part is very hard, and after four days the metal was already badly bent and deformed. I was hoping to stop her scratching, but unfortunately it's not working, and I'm afraid she'll hurt herself even more if the metal deforms so easily. Nevertheless, I really need this kind of mask and will buy the more expensive plastic version in the hope that it will hold better. Disappointed with this purchase, if I'd known I'd have gone straight for the Equivizor model, it would have saved me the extra €100...

For these masks, the main measurement is that of your horse's forehead. To do this, add up 3 measurements:
Add these 3 measurements (A+B+C) to obtain the size of your horse's forehead.
IMPORTANT: do not measure directly from one eye to the other, as this will probably give a measurement that is too small.
