Le masque Helios est conçu pour offrir une protection optimale aux chevaux souffrant de sensibilité oculaire. Grâce à sa toile micro-perforée filtrant 90 % des UV, il protège non seulement du soleil, mais aussi du vent, de la poussière, des brins de foin et des insectes. Son design a été pensé pour maximiser le confort : une finition en polaire sur toutes les zones en contact avec la peau évite les irritations, tandis qu’un grand arceau semi-rigide maintient la toile à distance des yeux. Le bonnet, en tissu respirant, favorise une ventilation optimale, particulièrement appréciable en période estivale. Cache-nez 90 % anti-UV amovible fourni.

Recommended uses

The Helios mask is an excellent complement to veterinary treatments for horses suffering from uveitis, ulcers, conjunctivitis, keratitis, cataracts... Its removable nose-patch helps to relieve certain horses prone to headshaking and protects fair skins. Flexible and lightweight, it can be worn continuously, in the pasture or in the stable.
Suitable for flat work, but not recommended for jumping. For jumping, we recommend Equigoogs goggles.

Helios mask care

• Hang the mask when not in use to preserve the fabric.
• Hand wash in cold water with mild soap. Use a soft brush to clean and rinse well. Air drying recommended.

Warnings and recommendations for use

Horses are not made to wear masks! Check daily that the mask stays in place and that your horse tolerates it well. Our materials and design are carefully studied, but every horse is unique. It's your responsibility to choose the right model and size. For horses with a tendency to rub their eyes, we recommend a rigid or hinged mask.
