Equivizor 90% UV-resistant lightweight hat without earflaps
This mask is imported from Australia, the land of flies!
Like all our products, it offers very high occultation and UV protection (90%), making it a perfect complement to veterinary treatment of uveitis in particular.
Entirely flexible, it can be worn permanently and without risk by any horse requiring special ophthalmological protection (uveitis, ulcers, cataracts, etc.), in the pasture or in the stable. It can also be used for outdoor work or on the flat. Given its opacity, we do not recommend using it for jumping; for these disciplines, Evysor rigid glasses are preferable.
Goggle features:
- Front opening for toupee,
- Thick neoprene lining keeps canvas away from horse's eye,
- Velcro fastening at under-throat,
- Second fastening system with 2 straps, one behind the ears, the second under the throat.
This mask is ideal for horses living permanently in meadows. It is particularly effective if your horse suffers from uveitis, cataracts, conjunctivitis, ulcers or any other pathology or ocular fragility.
For the correct size, please refer to the size chart above. In the event of an error, we process returns and reshipments as quickly as possible, on simple return of the product in perfect condition, imperatively within 14 days.
This mask is recommended or prescribed by equine vets to accompany treatment of uveitis, cataracts, ulcers, or any other pathology and/or ocular fragility.
Made in Australia (materials and manufacturing).
Sizes: XS (shetland) - S (pony) - M (cob) - L (full) - XL (XFull)
Please note:
If you have taken out an insurance policy covering your horse's veterinary expenses, your insurance company may cover all or part of the cost of eye protection required in the event of an accident or to treat an ophthalmic condition. If this is the case, and subject to the terms and conditions of your policy, your insurance company will require the products to be prescribed by your veterinarian on the prescription he or she gives you.
Horses are not made to wear masks! Check at least once a day that the mask has not moved and that your horse is comfortable with it. We take the greatest care in the manufacture of our products and in the choice of materials, but every horse is different, and it's up to you to check that the equipment you choose (model + size) corresponds to the protection your horse's eyes need.
