Anti-UV cap for horses with uveitis

Like all our products, it offers very high occultation and UV protection (90%), making it a perfect complement to the treatment prescribed by vets for uveitis. Featuring a semi-rigid hoop to keep the fabric away from the horse's eye, it can be worn permanently and without risk by any horse requiring special ophthalmological protection (uveitis, ulcer, cataract...), in the pasture or in the stable.

It can also be used for outdoor work or on the flat. Given its opacity, we advise against using it for jumps; for these disciplines, Evysor goggles are the best choice.

Mask features :

  • Semi-rigid rollbar
  • Thick neoprene lining maintains cup shape,
  • Velcro fastening at under-throat,
  • Second fastening system with 2 straps, one behind the ears, the second under the throat. The strap passing under the throat has a sheath to ensure maximum comfort for the horse.

Particularly effective if your horse suffers from uveitis, cataracts, conjunctivitis, ulcers or any other pathology or eye fragility.

For the correct size, please refer to the size chart.
In the event of an error, we will process returns and reshipments as quickly as possible, on simple return of the product in perfect condition, imperatively within 14 days.

This mask is recommended or prescribed by equine vets to accompany treatment of uveitis, cataracts, ulcers, or any other pathology and/or ocular fragility.

Made in Australia (materials and manufacturing). Sizes: XS (mini) - S (Pony) - M (cob) - L (full) - XL (Full)

Please note: If you have taken out an insurance policy covering your horse's veterinary expenses, your insurance company may cover all or part of the cost of eye protection required in the event of an accident or to treat an ophthalmic pathology. If this is the case, and subject to the terms and conditions of your policy, your insurance company will require the products to be prescribed by your vet on the prescription you receive. Horses are not made to wear masks! Check at least once a day that the mask has not moved and that your horse is comfortable with it. We take the greatest care in the manufacture of our products and in the choice of materials, but every horse is different, and it's up to you to check that the equipment you choose (model + size) corresponds to the protection your horse's eyes need.

    Poor posture

This product looks quality but from day one it loses it at Pre for you. Good size and I think well adjusted.

    Very good!

The mask stays in place. My horse is in the pasture 24 hours a day and has never lost it or moved it. The mask really seems to help! I recommend it and, above all, I'd like to thank Karine and Toto for recommending it to me!

    Anti-UV mask

We just bought it, the delivery was fast and the product corresponds to our expectations. Our horse wears it without difficulty.

What size should I choose for my equidiva mask/cap?
All measurements are approximate and for guidance only.

    Premium mask size guide

Using a tape measure (or string, which you can measure later), go around your horse's head as shown in the photo:

    Mask size Head circumference
    XS - Shetland 84 cm
    S - Pony 90 cm
    M - Cob 94 cm
    L - Full 100 cm
    XL - XFull 110 cm
If your horse's head measurement is between 2 sizes, we recommend taking the nearest larger size.

Size guide - Equivizor masks (Light, Arso, Convalescence models)

For these masks, the main measurement is that of your horse's forehead. To do this, add up 3 measurements:

    1. start at the outer corner of one eye and measure upwards at a slight angle to the middle of the forehead (measurement A),
    2. continue along your horse's forehead (measure B),
    3. finish the measurement by pointing the line slightly downwards to the outer corner of the other eye (measurement C). In this way, you measure the widest part of your horse's forehead.

Add these 3 measurements (A+B+C) to obtain the size of your horse's forehead.

IMPORTANT: do not measure directly from one eye to the other, as this will probably give a measurement that is too small.

If your horse is between two sizes, we advise you to take the smaller size.
