Our history

We don't talk much about horses' eye problems. There are many articles in the specialist press or on the Internet about lameness, colic, back problems, dermatitis... And yet, having discussed the subject on many occasions with equine vets, uveitis is becoming increasingly common, and with it the need for very specific, lengthy and cumbersome treatment, not to mention the pain and discomfort felt by the horse itself, which can even make it restive.
Following leptospirosis, one of my horses suffered from recurrent uveitis. Although treated by a vet specializing in equine ophthalmology, the successive attacks eventually left him blind. That's when I realized that UV protection was virtually non-existent on the market, even though it's absolutely essential and complementary to the treatments prescribed by the vet. Of course, they don't cure, but they enable the horse to lead a normal life, whatever the climatic conditions.
This unfortunate experience was the starting point for my business. First, I decided to import the goggles from Argentina. I then looked for a material that was very blackout but still allowed the horse to see through, in order to create a mask adapted to this particular context. These masks are made in France by a small, high-quality sewing workshop. Other mask models will soon be available, as their creation is often the result of testimonials and well-founded feedback from end-users.
I'll be happy to answer any questions you may have.
