ESC Phyto for horses and ponies

Uvémix herbal blend - eye protection and uveitis

Sizing guide

Uvemix has been formulated by our partner ESC Laboratoire, experts in equine phytotherapy. It helps protect the horse's eyes in the event of recurrent eye disease.

A natural food supplement adapted to the horse's body

Uvemix is composed of 8 plants selected for their circulatory, antioxidant and flavonoid properties. These include :

Blueberry berry

Naturally rich in antioxidants recognized for their beneficial action on ocular blood circulation. Although horses have good vision (especially at night), their eyes are fragile and exposed to trauma, which can lead to recurrent eye problems.

Euphrasia

This soothing plant also has an antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effect. It's nicknamed the "eyeglass breaker"!

Ginkgo Biloba

Selected for its ability to delay eye ageing thanks to its properties on blood micro-circulation.

Composition of Uvemix

Mixture of dehydrated cut plants, untreated and guaranteed GMO-free:
SAULE BLANC - BAIE DE MYRTILLE - CASSIS - EUPHRAISIE - BOSWELLIA - FEUILLE DE MYRTILLE - GINKGO BILOBA - CURCUMA

So it's a bit complicated to distribute when the horse doesn't have a daily ration, being in pasture all year round and overweight. So I'm not questioning the product, but a formula in the form of a cap to be taken like a sweet would not be bad!

Horse prone to uveitis during its first course of treatment, still early to comment on results, but no problem getting it to eat the leaves as part of its daily ration. To be continued!

    Blueberry leaf

Very good products, my mare no longer sees out of her right eye but since I've been giving her the product she no longer triggers an attack and her eye is never red again. She lives a good retirement in the meadow with masks adapted to her problem but very satisfied with the product.

    Blueberry leaves

After a week of mixing bilberry leaves into his food, my Charly's eyes seem less watery and better vascularized. We're continuing to give him a 3-week course as indicated.

Very good product quality, as with the equipment. Just a smaller amount of bucket filling on my 2nd order. Fast delivery, advice tailored to your needs. And when you're in a tight spot, that makes all the difference. Overall, very satisfied

What size should I choose for my equidiva mask/cap?
All measurements are approximate and for guidance only.

    Premium mask size guide

Using a tape measure (or string, which you can measure later), go around your horse's head as shown in the photo:

    Mask size Head circumference
    XS - Shetland 84 cm
    S - Pony 90 cm
    M - Cob 94 cm
    L - Full 100 cm
    XL - XFull 110 cm
If your horse's head measurement is between 2 sizes, we recommend taking the nearest larger size.

Size guide - Equivizor masks (Light, Arso, Convalescence models)

For these masks, the main measurement is that of your horse's forehead. To do this, add up 3 measurements:

    1. start at the outer corner of one eye and measure upwards at a slight angle to the middle of the forehead (measurement A),
    2. continue along your horse's forehead (measure B),
    3. finish the measurement by pointing the line slightly downwards to the outer corner of the other eye (measurement C). In this way, you measure the widest part of your horse's forehead.

Add these 3 measurements (A+B+C) to obtain the size of your horse's forehead.

IMPORTANT: do not measure directly from one eye to the other, as this will probably give a measurement that is too small.

    Mask size Forehead size
    XS - Shetland 18-21 cm
    S - Pony 22-28 cm
    M - Cob 29-33 cm
    L - Full 34-37 cm
    XL - XFull 38-43 cm

    Rambo mask size guide

    Take these 3 steps:
    Size A B C
XS (large shetland) 60 cm 84 cm 20 cm
    S (pony) 70 cm 96 cm 23 cm
    M (cob) 70 cm 96 cm 25.5 cm
    L (full) 75 cm 105 cm 27 cm

If your horse is between two sizes, we advise you to take the smaller size.

    Size guide - Equivet mask

Measure the distance between the center of the horse's eyes:

    Mask size Distance between eyes
    S - Pony 18 cm
    M - Cob 21 cm
    L - Full 24 cm
    XL - XFull 26 cm

    Size guide - eVysor glasses

The eVysor mask is available in one size. It is suitable for "cob" or "full" size horses. It may also fit larger ponies (D ponies).
