Equipped with a rigid, ventilated, one-sided shell, the Equivet eye protection mask provides effective one-sided insulation, protects the horse's eye from external aggression (insects, dust, etc.) and trauma, and accompanies any veterinary treatment for uveitis, corneal ulcers, cataracts, etc.
Imported from Denmark and manufactured by Kruuse, a company specializing in state-of-the-art veterinary equipment, this mask is often recommended and prescribed by vets in the event of ophthalmic problems requiring total protection of the horse's eye.
It is easily attached to your horse's halter using Velcro fasteners. It's easy to put on and take off, especially to check on the progress of the wound, healing or the effects of any treatment on the horse's eye.
This horse mask comes with spare absorbent pads and 3 boxes of compresses to help you care for and keep your horse's eye clean.
For the correct size, please refer to the size chart above. In the event of an error, we process returns and reshipments as quickly as possible, on simple return of the product in perfect condition, imperatively within 14 days.
This mask is recommended or prescribed by equine veterinarians to aid post-operative healing or eye treatment for uveitis, cataracts, ulcers, or any other pathology and/or ocular fragility.
Made in Denmark (materials and manufacturing).
Please note:
If you have taken out an insurance policy covering your horse's veterinary expenses, your insurance company may cover all or part of the cost of eye protection required in the event of an accident or to treat an ophthalmic condition. If this is the case, and subject to the terms and conditions of your policy, your insurance company will require the products to be prescribed by your veterinarian on the prescription he or she gives you.
Horses are not made to wear masks! Check at least once a day that the mask has not moved and that your horse is comfortable with it. We take the greatest care in the manufacture of our products and in the choice of materials, but every horse is different, and it's up to you to check that the equipment you choose (model + size) corresponds to the protection your horse's eyes need.
