equidiva Premium soft mask - 90% UV protection

Delivery time: 3 weeks

This unique ophthalmic cap is the perfect complement to eye protection/glasses for horses. Completely flexible, it can be worn at all times without risk by any horse requiring special eye protection (uveitis, ulcers, cataracts...), whether in the pasture or the stable. It also provides effective protection against wind, dust, hay stalks, rain, etc. It can be used for outdoor work or on the flat. Given its opacity, we advise against using it for jumping; for these disciplines, Evysor goggles are the best choice.

Designed in 2 parts combining 2 technical materials, it provides your horse with maximum comfort and protection:
- Cup part: water-repellent stretch fabric. Closes with a wide velcro strap and 1 adjustable underthroat strap.
- Ocular part: resistant, micro-perforated coated fabric for optimum filtering of UV rays, wind, dust, hay stalks, etc.

Arceau semi-rigide au-dessus des yeux et boudin en mousse (amovible) en bas du chanfrein pour un bon éloignement de la toile.

Care with cold soapy water and brush or cold machine, short program, low spin, ideally protected in a laundry net.

For the correct size, please refer to the size chart above. In the event of an error, we process returns and reshipments as quickly as possible, on simple return of the product in perfect condition, imperatively within 14 days.

This mask is recommended or prescribed by equine veterinarians to accompany the treatment of uveitis, cataracts, ulcers, or any other pathology and/or ocular fragility.

Sizes: XS (shetland) - S (pony) - M (cob) - L (full) - XL (XFull)

Please note:

If you have taken out an insurance policy covering your horse's veterinary expenses, your insurance company may cover all or part of the cost of eye protection required in the event of an accident or to treat an ophthalmic condition. If this is the case, and subject to the terms and conditions of your policy, your insurance company will require the products to be prescribed by your veterinarian on the prescription he or she gives you.

Horses are not made to wear masks! Check at least once a day that the mask has not moved and that your horse is comfortable with it. We take the greatest care in the manufacture of our products and in the choice of materials, but every horse is different, and it's up to you to check that the equipment you choose (model + size) corresponds to the protection your horse's eyes need.

    Prenuim mask pack without ears.

Hello and a big thank you to Equidiva. My horse suffers from chronic uveitis. I ordered the Prenuim mask without ears because he also has summer dermatitis. As a result, he tears all his previous masks on his ears when he scratches! I've been using the two masks alternately for over a month now. This is so that I can wash them and have one for the playpen and one for the box at night. The masks also wash extremely well in the washing machine! The perforations in the fabric are of the highest quality. In fact, they are much tighter than "traditional" masks. They provide much better protection from dust and wind, as well as UV rays thanks to their opacity. Without impeding vision. My horse seems very comfortable in them. Thanks to the flexible bows, which don't rub against the canvas. I can't hide the fact that this was one of my fears. Especially with dermatitis. What's more, the distance between the eyes and the fabric is really perfect. The foam reinforcements make it even more comfortable to wear, and cushion any rubbing. Maybe a little hot for summer, but you can't have everything! I've also been able to cut down on the cortisone creams, and the attacks seem to be much less frequent. It's really a huge relief for him. So a really big thank you to you for making this mask! It's well worth the investment, and I have no regrets! Yours sincerely Marguerite Zacharzewski

He's on his way, so we're running a little late. Kind regards, Pascale

What size should I choose for my equidiva mask/cap?
All measurements are approximate and for guidance only.

    Premium mask size guide

Using a tape measure (or string, which you can measure later), go around your horse's head as shown in the photo:

    Mask size Head circumference
    XS - Shetland 84 cm
    S - Pony 90 cm
    M - Cob 94 cm
    L - Full 100 cm
    XL - XFull 110 cm
If your horse's head measurement is between 2 sizes, we recommend taking the nearest larger size.

Size guide - Equivizor masks (Light, Arso, Convalescence models)

For these masks, the main measurement is that of your horse's forehead. To do this, add up 3 measurements:

    1. start at the outer corner of one eye and measure upwards at a slight angle to the middle of the forehead (measurement A),
    2. continue along your horse's forehead (measure B),
    3. finish the measurement by pointing the line slightly downwards to the outer corner of the other eye (measurement C). In this way, you measure the widest part of your horse's forehead.

Add these 3 measurements (A+B+C) to obtain the size of your horse's forehead.

IMPORTANT: do not measure directly from one eye to the other, as this will probably give a measurement that is too small.

    Mask size Forehead size
    XS - Shetland 18-21 cm
    S - Pony 22-28 cm
    M - Cob 29-33 cm
    L - Full 34-37 cm
    XL - XFull 38-43 cm

    Rambo mask size guide

    Take these 3 steps:
    Size A B C
XS (large shetland) 60 cm 84 cm 20 cm
    S (pony) 70 cm 96 cm 23 cm
    M (cob) 70 cm 96 cm 25.5 cm
    L (full) 75 cm 105 cm 27 cm

If your horse is between two sizes, we advise you to take the smaller size.

    Size guide - Equivet mask

Measure the distance between the center of the horse's eyes:

    S - Pony 18 cm
    M - Cob 21 cm

    XL - XFull 26 cm

    Size guide - eVysor glasses
