These unique eye masks are the perfect complement to eye protection for horses. Completely flexible, they can be worn at all times, without risk, by any horse requiring special eye protection (uveitis, ulcers, cataracts, etc.), whether in the pasture or the stable. They can also be used for outdoor work or on the flat. Given their opacity, we do not recommend using them for jumping; for these disciplines, Evysor glasses are preferable.

Delivery time: 3 weeks

Arso Mask - Equivizor - without earmuffs

This mask offers very high occultation and anti-UV protection (90%), and is a perfect complement to the treatment prescribed by vets for uveitis, thanks to its semi-rigid headband that keeps the fabric away from the eye.

Mask features :

- Semi-rigid hoop,
- Thick neoprene interior to maintain the shape of the bonnet,
- Velcro fastening at the throat,
- Second fastening system with 2 straps, one behind the ears, the second under the throat. The under-throat strap has a sheath to ensure maximum comfort for the horse.

Made in Australia (materials and manufacturing).

equidiva premium mask with earmuffs

Designed in 2 parts combining 2 technical materials, it provides your horse with maximum comfort and protection:

- Cup: water-repellent stretch fabric. Wide velcro closure and 1 adjustable strap at under-bust level.
- Ocular part: resistant, micro-perforated coated fabric for optimum filtering of UV rays, wind, dust, hay stalks, etc.

Arceau semi-rigide au-dessus des yeux et boudin en mousse (amovible) en bas du chanfrein pour un bon éloignement de la toile.

Care with cold soapy water and brush or cold machine, short program, low spin, ideally protected in a laundry net.

These masks are recommended or prescribed by equine veterinarians to accompany treatment of uveitis, cataracts, ulcers, or any other pathology and/or ocular fragility.

If you have taken out insurance to cover your horse's veterinary expenses, your insurance company may cover all or part of the cost of eye protection required in the event of an accident or to treat an ophthalmic condition. If this is the case, your insurance company will require that the products be prescribed by your veterinarian on the prescription he or she gives you.

Horses are not made to wear masks! Check at least once a day that the mask has not moved and that your horse is comfortable with it. We take the greatest care in the manufacture of our products and in the choice of materials, but every horse is different, and it's up to you to check that the equipment you choose (model + size) corresponds to the protection your horse's eyes need.

What size should I choose for my equidiva mask/cap?
All measurements are approximate and for guidance only.

Premium mask size guide

Using a tape measure (or string, which you can measure later), go around your horse's head as shown in the photo:

Mask size Head circumference
XS - Shetland 84 cm
S - Pony 90 cm
M - Cob 94 cm
L - Full 100 cm
XL - XFull 110 cm
If your horse's head measurement is between 2 sizes, we recommend taking the nearest larger size.

Size guide - Equivizor masks (Light, Arso, Convalescence models)

For these masks, the main measurement is that of your horse's forehead. To do this, add up 3 measurements:

  1. start at the outer corner of one eye and measure upwards at a slight angle to the middle of the forehead (measurement A),
  2. continue along your horse's forehead (measure B),
  3. finish the measurement by pointing the line slightly downwards to the outer corner of the other eye (measurement C). In this way, you measure the widest part of your horse's forehead.

Add these 3 measurements (A+B+C) to obtain the size of your horse's forehead.

IMPORTANT: do not measure directly from one eye to the other, as this will probably give a measurement that is too small.
