This unique ophthalmic cap is the perfect complement to eye protection/glasses for horses. Completely flexible, it can be worn at all times without risk by any horse requiring special eye protection (uveitis, ulcers, cataracts...), whether in the pasture or in the stable. It also provides effective protection against wind, dust, hay stalks, rain...
Designed in 2 parts combining 2 technical materials, it provides your horse with maximum comfort and protection:
Arceau semi-rigide au-dessus des yeux et boudin en mousse (amovible) en bas du chanfrein pour un bon éloignement de la toile.
This mask is ideal for stabled horses that spend several hours a day in the paddock.
This mask is imported from Australia, the land of flies!
Like all our products, it offers very high occultation and UV protection (90%), making it the perfect complement to veterinary treatment of uveitis in particular. Entirely flexible, it can be worn permanently and without risk by any horse requiring special ophthalmological protection (uveitis, ulcer, cataract...), in the pasture or in the stable.
Mask features :
This mask is ideal for horses living permanently in pasture.
Made in Australia (materials and manufacturing).
These masks are available in the following sizes: XS (shetland) - S (pony) - M (cob) - L (full) - XL (XFull)
These models are from two different manufacturers, so the measurements to be taken on your horse to determine which size to choose are not the same. Please refer to the size chart. In case of error, we process returns and reshipments as quickly as possible, on simple return of the product in perfect condition, imperatively within 14 days.
Care with cold soapy water and brush or cold machine, short program, low spin, ideally protected in a laundry net.
These 2 masks can be used for outdoor work or on the flat. Due to their opacity, we do not recommend using them for jumps; for these disciplines, prefer the Evysor rigid goggles.
If you have taken out an insurance policy covering your horse's veterinary expenses, your insurance company may cover all or part of the cost of eye protection required in the event of an accident or to treat an ophthalmic condition. If this is the case, and subject to the terms and conditions of your policy, your insurance company will require the products to be prescribed by your veterinarian on the prescription he or she gives you.
Horses are not made to wear masks! Check at least once a day that the mask has not moved and that your horse is comfortable with it. We take the greatest care in the manufacture of our products and in the choice of materials, but every horse is different, and it's up to you to check that the equipment you choose (model + size) corresponds to the protection your horse's eyes need.

Add these 3 measurements (A+B+C) to obtain the size of your horse's forehead.
IMPORTANT: do not measure directly from one eye to the other, as this will probably give a measurement that is too small.
